Design Director - Embassy Suites & HGVHiltonKatie Kelchner joined Hilton’s Design team in 2017. As Design Director for Embassy Suites & Hilton Grand Vacations, she is responsible for overseeing design efforts for all conversion, renovation and new construction projects in North America. Katie works to develop, refresh and maintain brand resources including Design Narratives, Prototypes and Design & Construction Standards. Working closely with Owner’s and their consultants, she provides expert feedback and guidance to ensure project alignment with brand expectations.
With 20 years of industry experience, Katie started her career designing custom homes in Rochester, NY before moving to Washington, DC where she spent 9 years as a Project Manager for Streetsense working on a range of commercial projects and ultimately finding her love of restaurant and hospitality design.
Katie is a certified Interior Designer with a BFA from Syracuse University.
