Why Attend

Revisit. Reboot. Recharge. Restore.

Any other year, you would find this space devoted to discovery, knowledge-sharing, networking, innovation, craft, inspiration, and a hundred more reasons to attend HD in August 2021.

But this not a normal year. Nor was 2020.

Like you, since the pandemic took hold, we have experienced extreme uncertainty, unforeseen challenges, and a range of emotions, along with extreme gratitude for family, friends, essential workers, health, kindness, mindfulness, and any sense of normalcy.

There is no playbook. But we are certain about two things: community matters in good times and bad, and from bitter challenges come new ideas, innovation, and inspiration.

In support of our amazing hospitality design industry that we all love, you are cordially invited to HD Expo + Conference 2021 in Las Vegas, August 24+25. We pledge to share the best of hospitality, with your safety as our first priority. (If that sounds like an airline takeoff safety speech, fine, we’re sticking to it.)

There’s never been a more important time to come together. All in, we’re stronger as a community.

See you soon—
Team HD

A sneak peek into August

It’s a 60-second look into what’s new (hint: a LOT), what’s staying the same (the never-ending inspiration), and also a few familiar faces who plan on joining us.

Some of our advocates:

Visiting HD Expo + Conference always reminds me of what a tight community the interior design field truly is. I was excited to reconnect with our vendors and seeing what new products they are introducing. Time is so precious these days and being able to combine all this while reconnecting with my own staff, in such a relaxed environment, offers a welcome break from all of our deadlines.

Principal, Studio K Creative

I can honestly say that not a year has gone by since we began SDDG in 2002 that I have not attended or had our team attend HD Expo. I feel it is extremely important to leave the comforts of your desk, take a break from the virtual world and personally engage with the abundance of exciting new products, hear directly from vendors and manufacturers about unique qualities of their goods and connect with like-minded creatives. It is a great way to be inspired and come back to your projects with a new perspective.
