
David Shove-Brown

Mr. Shove-Brown holds bachelor’s degrees in architecture and architectural science from The Catholic University of America. He has worked with several Mid-Atlantic firms and has consulting experience with Ford Motor Company, BMW, and Suzuki.

His work and commentary have appeared in publications including Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Washingtonian Magazine, Hospitality Design, Boutique Design, and Interior Design Magazine, among others. In addition to practice, Mr. Shove-Brown serves as guest faculty at The Catholic University of America School of Architecture and Planning, where he participates in international travel programs. His academic collaborations have been published in “Cefalu: The New Waterfront” and “The Casa Malaparte Workshop.” He has also served on NAAB Visiting Teams representing the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, contributing to accreditation reviews at institutions including MIT, the University of Hawaii, and the University of Texas at Arlington.
Mr. Shove-Brown has received awards from the American Institute of Architects and the Washington Architectural Foundation, including the Wieb Award for Architecture in the Public Interest. //3877 has been recognized by Washingtonian Magazine, Washington City Paper, and DC Inno.
He is actively involved in charitable organizations including NEWH, ScholarCHIPS, La Clínica del Pueblo, and the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. Outside of work, he enjoys coffee, bacon cheeseburgers, good beer, and most of all, being a dad.
