NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

METHOD TO ENTER: Using the Hospitality Design Expo and Conference (HD Expo + Conference) Passport sweepstakes card provided, visit the Exhibit Hall booths of all ten (10) HD Passport Cash Giveaway sponsors listed and have your sweepstakes card stamped. Return your completed HD Passport sweepstakes card to the Social Hub (Booth #5735) before 11:59 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025. You must visit all ten (10) sponsors and receive a stamp from each sponsor in order for your sweepstakes card entry to be valid.

ELIGIBILITY: To enter the Hospitality Design Expo and Conference (HD Expo + Conference) Passport Giveaway (the “sweepstakes”), you must be 21 years of age or older, a legal U.S. resident, and have a registered expo only, full conference, or experience pass attendee badge for the 2025 Hospitality Design Expo + Conference. No entry fee, payment, or proof of purchase is required to enter the Sweepstakes. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Those who do not follow all of the instructions, provide accurate required information on their registration form, or abide by these Official Rules or other instructions of Sponsor, may be disqualified.  No facsimiles or mechanical reproductions of entries are allowed. Entrants may not enter under multiple identities or use any other device or artifice to enter multiple times in excess of the limit stated herein. Any Entrant who attempts to enter in excess of the number of times allowed will be disqualified and forfeits any and all prizes won, in Sponsor’s discretion.  Limit one (1) entry per eligible person.  All entries become the sole property of Sponsor and none will be returned. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: All entries must be received at the Social Hub (Booth #5735), by 11:59 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

HOW WINNERS WILL BE CHOSEN: Entries will be collected at the Social Hub (Booth #5735) at the 2025 Hospitality Design Expo + Conference. Winners will be selected in four random drawings held at the following times:

• Drawing 1 – Two (2) $500 Visa gift cards: At or around 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Two entries will be drawn at random to determine the winners. The prize winners do not need to be present to win. Odds of being selected as a winner are dependent on the number of entries received. If fewer than two entries are received, the remaining winners will be selected during Drawing 2.
• Drawing 2 – Three (3) $500 Visa gift cards: At or around 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Three entries will be drawn at random to determine the winners. The prize winners do not need to be present to win. Odds of being selected as a winner are dependent on the number of entries received. If fewer entries than the number of available prizes are received, the remaining winners will be selected during Drawing 3.
• Drawing 3 – Five (5) $500 Visa gift cards: At or around 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Five entries will be drawn at random to determine the winners. The prize winners do not need to be present to win. Odds of being selected as a winner are dependent on the number of entries received.
• Drawing 4 – $5,000 Cash Prize: At or around 12:45 p.m. PDT on Thursday, May 8, 2025. One entry will be drawn at random to determine the winner. The prize winner needs to be present to win. Odds of being selected as a winner are dependent on the numbers of entries received.

PRIZES TO BE AWARDED/VALUE: The eleven (11) prizes are as follows:

• Drawings 1-3: One $500 Visa gift card for each of ten (10) winners. The winner may select a physical gift card by claiming their prize at the Sales office between 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7 and 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025, unless an alternative meeting location is specified between the winner and show management. Winners will be alerted by email and text message or phone call if a mobile number was provided upon show registration.
• Drawing 4: The prize for drawing 4 will be $5,000.00 in the form of a check payable from Emerald. It will be sent via Federal Express to the winner within forty-five (45) days of the close of the show. Winner will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes and the completion of appropriate tax forms.

PRIZE WINNERS: Where permitted by law, the winners grant (and agree to confirm said grant in writing upon the request of the Sponsor) to Sponsor, and those acting pursuant to Sponsor’s direction or control, the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the Internet, at any time or times, the winners’ names, portraits, pictures, voices, likenesses and biographical information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without additional consideration and without notice, review or approval. Further, the Drawing 4 ($5,000 Cash Prize) winner will be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, a Publicity Release (where lawful), and provide evidence of identity and age with a valid state or federally issued identification (i.e. driver’s license or passport), all within fourteen (14) days of prize notification. If said documents are not returned timely, or if prize or prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, or if a winner is found not to have complied with these Official Rules, declines the prize for any reason, or is ineligible for any reason, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, to an alternate winner selected at random.

RELEASE: By participating, participants release and agree to hold harmless Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any injury, loss or damage of any kind to persons (including, without limitation, death) or property, arising directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from or in connection with the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, participation in this Sweepstakes, or any Sweepstakes-related activity.  NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, IN THE EVENT THAT THE PRECEDING RELEASE IS DETERMINED BY A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION TO BE INVALID OR VOID FOR ANY REASON, THE PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT, BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, (I) ANY CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, BUT IN NO EVENT ATTORNEYS’ FEES; AND (II) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY PARTICIPANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND PARTICIPANT HEREBY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM, ANY OTHER DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

TAXES/NO PRIZE SUBSTITUTIONS: Prize winners are responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes relative to the prize, plus any other incidentals. No prize substitutions or transfers. Drawing 4 ($5,000 Cash Prize) winner will be required to give Hospitality Design Expo + Conference his/her social security number, legal name, age, present address, and phone number for tax record keeping purposes. Winner will be required to sign an income tax information release stating the total value of the prize won.

PRIVACY NOTICE: Hospitality Design Expo + Conference on occasion uses information collected on these entry forms to forward information about products or services we feel may be of interest and may share information collected about entrants included on the entry forms with other units within the family of Hospitality Design Expo + Conference/ Emerald X, LLC, and/or with other reputable third party companies such as any co-sponsors, so they can inform you of products and services that may be of interest to you. GOVERNING LAW: By entering, participants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Sweepstakes Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participants and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of California without regard to its conflicts of law provisions. All participants hereby consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal or state courts located in Orange County, California.
