The 2026 New Design Professionals Program
The HD Expo + Conference New Design Professionals program is designed to give rising talent in the hospitality design industry a VIP, curated experience that sets them up for long-term success. Returning for 2026, selected participants will receive a complimentary Experience Pass (with access to exclusive networking events), a three-night hotel stay, and up to $500 toward domestic flights (or up to $1,000 for international travel). Along with these benefits, NDPs will enjoy special programming, access to HD University, and unique networking designed to connect them with the industry’s top leaders and brands.

Who qualifies for the HD New Design Professionals program?
That’s a great question. Here’s what we’re looking for in our NDP candidates:
- Emerging professionals: If you’re a designer, architect, or creative working in hospitality design with 1-5 years of experience, this program is built for you. Have more than 5 years’ experience? Check out our Hosted Buyer Program.
- Career growth focus: Ideal applicants are those looking to expand their network, gain exposure to top brands, and build relationships with industry leaders.
- Time commitment: Participants agree to take part in the New Design Professionals VIP Schedule from Sunday, May 3 at 5 PM through Wednesday, May 6 at 2 PM.
