Liana Hawes Young

Liana Hawes Young

Associate Principal, Creative DirectorWimberly Interiors

Liana begins every new assignment with a story – be it a person, an experience or a piece of art. From there, she crafts a unique narrative that informs the design and creates a thread for the team to bring to life.

Growing up abroad, Liana was exposed to many cultures and travel experiences that shaped her love of design. Now, with over 20 years of design experience within the hospitality industry, that influence can be seen across a myriad of high-profile projects and through her outgoing and energetic approach.

Liana’s portfolio includes The Bentley Suite at The St. Regis New York (winner of Best Guestroom at the Boutique Design Awards Show in 2012), the Phoenician in Arizona and Rosewood Baha Mar in the Bahamas (both finalists for Best Resort at BDNY’s Gold Key Awards in 2018), and more recently, Four Seasons Cartagena, Colombia, and the Viceroy at Ombria Resort, Portugal.
