Kelly McFadden
Director of Development and DesignLeft Lane DevelopmentKelly McFadden is Vice President of Development and Design at Left Lane, where she oversees complex, design-driven hospitality projects from design through delivery. An architect by training, Kelly brings over 12 years of experience managing large-scale adaptive reuse, renovation and ground-up projects, with a focus on hospitality-led placemaking.
At Left Lane, Kelly was a key player in opening the flagship Hotel Bardo in Savannah, a 149-key, 165,000-square-foot hotel renovation and addition that opened in 2024 and has received international recognition, including Interior Design Magazine’s Hotel of the Year, a Michelin Key, Condé Nast’s Traveler Hot List, and Travel + Leisure’s Best New Hotels of the Year.
She is currently leading two office-to-hotel conversions of landmarked historic buildings. Recess Savannah, a 221-key, 120,000-square-foot renovation and addition will be the flagship lifestyle hotel and members club, opening Fall 2026. She is also leading design and construction of Recess Phoenix, a 340-key hotel and urban resort redevelopment on a seven-acre site.
Prior to joining Left Lane, Kelly practiced architecture in New York City and received her Masters in Real Estate Development, experience that continues to inform her rigorous, design-forward approach to development
